Meet Hest Bank Marsh

Three community workshops to engage local people with the dynamic coastal environment at Hest Bank on Morecambe Bay. We invited participants to realise their initial sensory impressions of the marsh, shared our knowledge of coastal ecology and local history, and playfully explored our connections with the marsh through movement, listening, photography, questioning, and notebooking.

Meet Hest Bank Marsh was a collaboration with the local community, Joseph Earl of Morecambe Bay Partnership, and Hest Bank marsh.

Meet Hest Bank Marsh was funded by Our Future Coast, a project aiming to use natural solutions like salt marsh to protect coastal communities in the North West. Hest Bank is one such community.
